Dart Marina Hotel

First stay here this weekend... The hotel is very nice,situated overlooking the Dart...although we had terrible weather the view from our room rm 33 was fab and I was determined to sit on the balcony and admire the view. We had a deluxe room which was fab with robes,slippers and complimentary toiletries...dont think my skin ever felt so soft after using these. We only stayed and ate breakfast but they were nice&just enough&I would have liked to have eaten in main restaurant but as a vegetarian there wasn't that much for me maybe in the future they may offer more of a choice for us non meat eaters...my only criticism is when people come to take breakfast orders if only one could take the order instead of 2/3 as both mornings they were wrong...just lack of communication I guess..

Dart Marina Hotel is first class! The accommodation is clean and beautifully presented, the place has a lovely atmosphere, attention to detail is apparent from the moment you walk through the doors, a beautiful river-side setting, staff are friendly, helpful and couldn't do more to help. Bar, Restaurant and Spa facilities all very nice. Looking forward to my next visit already. Thank you to all the team who made our stay so wonderful!

We are regular visitors. Calm beautiful situation overlooking the river. Staff are thoughtful, friendly and efficient. It's a real team effort and a delight to watch the interaction between them all.

I stayed at this hotel two days ago, and honestly, it is one of the finest and most beautiful hotels I have ever experienced in my life. I spent an unforgettable night there — the hotel was extremely clean, warm, comfortable, and elegant in every detail. I would also like to share a special moment that truly reflects the outstanding level of service. I had an unusual request: I asked one of the reception staff to help me tie my tie, as I do not know how to do it properly. There was an Arab staff member at the reception, I believe he was Egyptian. With great kindness, respect, and a warm smile, he immediately said, “I will take care of it for you,” and he tied my tie perfectly. His attitude, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help left a very positive impression on me. Unfortunately, I did not get his name, but I would like to sincerely thank him for his excellent service, his dedication to his work, and his polite and friendly manner. This hotel truly stands out not only for its comfort and cleanliness, but also for its exceptional staff. I highly recommend it and will definitely return again.

So friendly and efficient. Breakfast very good! Sandwiches yummy! Dinner excellent but limited choice these days, which is a shame. Generally, all round though, very good.

We had a fantastic weekend at the hotel. The staff are professional, courteous, helpful and always smiling. This will be our go to hotel for future breaks. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was perfect. Great menus well presented food. The staff here are excellent. Great welcome each time. The bar area is comfortable and very welcoming.

Stayed here almost a year ago (I know, late review) & it was utterly lovely with very pleasant rooms, friendly staff & fantastic restaurant. The view of the river was mesmerizing & I would love to go back.

I travel a huge amount for work with Salcombe Gin, staying in hotels across the UK and beyond, so I have a very solid benchmark for what great hospitality actually looks like. Dart Marina sits firmly at the top of that list. From the moment you arrive, the welcome feels genuine rather than scripted. Ali, the hotel manager, runs the place with real care and it shows throughout the entire experience. Rhian on reception is consistently warm, professional, and welcoming, making every arrival and return feel effortless and personal. The rooms are genuinely luxurious. Beautifully finished, immaculately maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Everything feels thoughtfully considered, making it easy to properly switch off after long days of travelling. The food and drinks are exceptional, consistently high quality and delivered with real attention to detail. Zanete in the restaurant deserves special mention, her service is warm, intuitive, and exactly what great hospitality should feel like. And then there is the view. Overlooking the river, it never loses its impact and is one of those rare scenes that makes you slow down and appreciate where you are. This is not just a great hotel, it is a place I actively look forward to coming back to, every single time.
